Hallie's Celebration!
               Tver's Orphans Receive the Gifts

Hallie's family and friends found a sweet way to say thank you to the caregivers at the orphanages in Tver! They celebrated Hallie's "gotcha day" with celebration and checks for Project Sunshine which are destined for the orphanage in Russia that nurtured and care for her "during the first nine years of her life.

Her parents, Sandy and Glenn wrote us a note with the $111. In checks telling us that "we are writing this letter for two reasons. The first is to thank you, EAC for helping begin to complete our family. Two years ago we adoption our magnificent daughter from Tver, Russia through the guidance and care of EAC. Hallie, our daughter, has thrived during those two years and has changed our lives completely.

Our experience with EAC was tremendous in that we found the process to be organized, fluent, and we were truly taken care of in Russia. As we embark on our next adoption, we can't help but remember the orphanage that Hallie was raised in for 9 months, the home where she was loved and nurtured. The past two years with Hallie has reminded us daily of all the children who live without traditional families. That is why every year we celebrate Hallie's 'Gotcha Day,' the day our hearts and home were completed, when Hallie came into our lives. Which brings us to the second reason for this letter. Instead of presents from all of her friends, we collect money for Project Sunshine. We know that this money is going to good use and all of our friends feel so blessed to be able to help."

A special and warm thank you from Hallie and everyone who remembered the special gift of caring at the Tver orphanage. Project Sunshine will make certain that we purchase much needed items for the orphans!
