Recently, when I was in Russia, I was presented with photographs of some of the projects that were completed for the children. I hope you enjoy the pictures and realize again how important and wonderful your gifts are.

So many EAC families have given Project Sunshine gifts in their children's name---birthdays, gotcha days, to honor grandparents---for reasons special to each family And look! These gifts continue to be gifts for the orphans who have not been adopted.
Sweet little playhouses now fill a yard at a Vladimir orphanage where there was once just empty space! Project Sunshine donations from hundreds of families help to create new and fun play space for the orphans!
This new and colorful equipment is great for crawling, making up games and learning physical skills! Oh yes, and special thanks to all the families who donated to Project Sunshine and make this playground possible! The orphanage directors tell us the toddlers and older children play for hours and hours on this wonderful and shiny new playground equipment. In addition to buying and installing the outdoor toys, Project Sunshine helped to make the play yards more welcoming and safer!
Project Sunshine gifts made for a magical summer for toddlers and older children! Off to the shores of the Sea of Azov for sandcastles, sharing brand new beach boys and creating new memories! A perfect picnic lunch, topped off with smiles and memories! Thank you Project Sunshine donors----your gifts added joy and sunshine to the lives of many young Russian orphans this summer. The beach also gave many children their first experience on fun rides in the sun, snacks with a very familiar mouse, and private time with caregivers.
The Project Sunshine camera lady found a way for all of the caregivers and their little charges to pose with two very still giraffes before everyone left to return to the orphanage.
