Vietnam - Medical Assistance
        Purchase of Equipment.

Our EAC Vietnam Program Director Tom Droughton and his wife, Marylynn Droughton, RN, MSN, and their son Tommy traveled to Vietnam and visited several orphanages. Marylynn conducted medical analysis and reviewed the health conditions of the infants in several of the

orphanages. Project Sunshine programs in Vietnam now have a focus. We know what medicines are most needed, and which orphanages need vitamins and other health supplies. In Vietnam, Project Sunshine has sent a medical fact-finding mission, learning what the needs are and how we can assist the infants, the staff and improve the facilities. Project Sunshine assessed older orphans' needs, and in 2001, we secured funding to send sewing machines, wiring processes, and  instructions so that the older children can learn a trade. Once they leave the orphanage they will be able to have this skill and support themselves.
