Project Sunshine Disbursements
So many have given Project Sunshine/EAC donations over the past few years and we believe in showing where the money has gone. Here is an overview of the last two years donations at work!
- First Half 2009
- Russia
- $4,000.00 to replace windows in Vladivostok orphanage
- $1,500.00 to help with repairs to orphanage in Astrokahn including new windows and washing machine purchase
- Ongoing help with repair of Maria (Warm) House (see Maria House web section)
- Guatemala
- $5,000.00 to New Dawn Orphanage to upgrade building
- Clothes and bottles for area orphans
- China
- $15,000.00 donated over the past year to CCAA for purchase of educational material and medical items for children in China orphanages
- $50,000.00+ to CCAA for Post-quake reconstruction
- Kazakhstan
- Help with sponsorship of corrective surgery of a little baby with cleft palate and lip
- Purchase of new washing machine for orphanage
- Spring/Summer 2008
- Russia
- Money sent for purchase of books for orphanages
- Guatemala
- $25,000 for purchases of food, clothing, and medical items for children left in limbo due to closing of Guatemala adoptions
- China
- $5,000.00 initial donation for immediate help for Earthquake victims
- Additional ongoing donations for Earthquake affected areas
- Kazakhstan
- $7,000.00 donation for various needs assessments for Kazakhstan
- $7,000.00 matching donation for additional needs for Kazakhstan orphanage
- Vietnam
- $5,000.00 in scholarships to help the children in Vietnam providences to attend school and receive the educational supplies needed
- Ukraine
- Money sent for needs of medical items and educational items for children in the Ukraine orphanages
